Recipes (Vegan)

A list of (vegan) recipes, that I created over the years (usually based on non-vegan recipes). Most of those recipes are focused on being as cheap as possible.

The magic of cooking is that if you want more/less sugar, you can freely change the measurement.

Chocolate cake

  • Dark chocolate or powder chocolate or powder cocoa (150 grams)
  • Wheat Flour (150 grams)
  • Sugar (50 grams)
  • Yeast (1 bag / around 5 to 10 grams)
  • Vanilla sugar (1 bag / around 10 grams)
  • Soy milk (add until you get a liquid-ish paste / 300 to 500 milliliters)

Pancakes (or chocolate pancakes)

  • Wheat Flour (150 grams)
  • Sugar (50 grams)
  • Yeast (1 bag / around 5 to 10 grams)
  • Vanilla sugar (1 bag / around 10 grams)
  • Soy milk (add until you get a liquid-ish paste / 300 to 500 milliliters)
  • (Optional) Powder chocolate or powder cocoa (add until you get the "color" you want)

Crepe (pancakes for when you need to save money)

  • Wheat Flour (250 grams)
  • Water (500 milliliters) (you can also use 500 milliliters of soy milk, but this will triple the price of the recipe)
  • Sugar or vanilla sugar (around 20 grams / 2 bags)
  • Salt (around 5 grams)

Bread

  • Wheat Flour (300 grams)
  • Water (200 milliliters)
  • Yeast (1 bag / around 5 to 10 grams)
  • Salt (around 7 grams)
  • Oil (5 milliliters) (optional)

Corn Bread

  • Corn Flour (100 grams)
  • Wheat Flour (200 grams)
  • Water (200 milliliters)
  • Yeast (1 bag / around 5 to 10 grams)
  • Sugar (around 10 grams)
  • Salt (around 7 grams)
  • Oil (5 milliliters) (optional)

Oat Bread

  • Oat Flour (100 grams)
  • Wheat Flour (200 grams)
  • Water (200 milliliters)
  • Yeast (1 bag / around 5 to 10 grams)
  • Salt (around 7 grams)
  • Oil (5 milliliters) (optional)

Red fruit smoothie

  • Banana (125 grams of peeled fruit or 1 big banana)
  • Any red fruit - or mix of red fruit (125 grams or the weight of the banana)
  • Ground rolled oats (3 teaspoon or more)
  • Soy milk or Oat milk (start with 250 milliliters and add more than that when everything is mixed if you want to lower the really strong taste of the fruits and/or save some money)

Leek pie

  • 1 pie dough
  • Chopped leek (400 grams)
  • Soy cream
  • Potatoes (100-200 grams) (optional)
  • Mushroom (100-200 grams) (optional)
  • Salt

Barley Bread

  • Barley Flour (150 grams)
  • Wheat Flour (150 grams)
  • Water (200 milliliters)
  • Yeast (1 bag / around 5 to 10 grams)
  • Salt (around 7 grams)

Split peas and carrots

  • Water
  • Split peas
  • Carrots (around half of the weight of the peas)
  • Onion
  • Herbes de Provence

Add all the ingredients to the water and boil until everything is cooked.
